What does the course include?
This course is designed to equip you with all the required basic skills in plumbing such as;
- System installation
- Maintenance
- Commissioning
- Materials and components
The qualification also provides you with the underpinning knowledge and skills required for the plumbing apprenticeship framework.
What do I need to get on this course?
To qualify for entry to Level 2, you are required to have obtained at least 4 GCSE’s at Grade D or above or a relevant vocational qualification at level 1.
In addition, you must have at least a level 1 competence level in Maths and Literacy

- Plumbing system installation
- Hot and cold water systems
- Sanitation and drainage systems
Where does it lead?
The diploma in Plumbing programme enables you to progress to a Plumbing Diploma/NVQ Level 3 which will ultimately lead to you gaining a full qualification and becoming a qualified Plumber.
