If you love reading, writing and expressing your thoughts and opinions about books and ideas, this is the course for you.

Develop a broad appreciation of English literature, engage with critical theories and theorists and gain a full understanding of the social, political and cultural context of writing.

Entry requirements and applying

The academic requirements for this course are 240 UCAS tariff points at GCE A Level or equivalent. Appropriate AS-Level and Level 3 Key Skills qualifications will also be taken into account. It is preferable that you have studied A level English.
