Method of assessment

Each qualification is assessed by official exam. The official exams are not included in this course package and must be booked separately. Details listed below.

Prince2 Exams PRINCE2® 2017 Foundation level           

• 1-hour closed book exam
• 60 questions per paper
• Must achieve 60% pass mark as a minimum (36 out of 60 questions)
• Results provided on the same day of the exam

PRINCE2® 2017 Practitioner level

• 2.5-hours (150 mins) open book exam (official PRINCE2 manual only)
• 68 questions per paper
• Objective testing style
• Must achieve 55% pass mark or 38/68

Lean Six Sigma Exams

• Yellow belt: 2 hour exam consisting of 60 multiple choice questions – to pass you must achieve 70% (230 points out of 300).
• Green belt: 3 hour exam consisting of 100 multiple choice questions – to pass you must achieve 70% (385 points out of 500).
• Black belt: 4 hour exam consisting of 150 multiple choice questions – to pass you must achieve 70% (580 points out of 750).

PMP® Exam

• 4 hour exam consisting of 200 questions. These exams are held twice a day on all working days and are available via testing centres (prometric). To maintain your PMP, you must earn 60 professional development units (PDUs) every three years.
• Complete the online exam application at pmi.org. The application can take a little while to complete, especially if you have a lot of experience to document. However, you do have 90 days to complete it which means you can revisit it whenever you want during this time period.

Please note: The PMP® is aimed at professional project managers with proven experience. The PMI have outlined the following minimum criteria’s that you need to fulfil before you take the exam:

• Secondary degree (high school diploma, associate’s degree or the global equivalent)
• 7,500 hours leading and directing projects (5 years of project management experience)
• 35 hours of project management education (35 contact hours of Formal Project Management Education: Typically, Four Days Classroom/40 Hours E-Learning Program)

OR

• Four-year degree
• 4,500 hours leading and directing projects
• 35 hours of project management education (35 contact hours of Formal Project Management Education: Typically, Four Days Classroom/40 Hours E-Learning Program)
• In both cases this experience must have been accumulated within eight years prior to your application submission

CAPM Exam

• 3 hour exam consisting of 150 multiple choice questions. To maintain your CAPM you must re-take the exam every 5 years.

Please note:  The CAPM is aimed at professional project managers with proven experience. The PMI have outlined the following minimum criteria’s that you need to fulfil before you take the exam.

• Secondary degree (high school diploma, associate’s degree or the global equivalent)
• 1,500 hours of project experience

OR

• 23 hours of project management education completed by the time you sit for the exam

PMI Risk Management Professional course PMI-RMP Exam

• 5 hour exam consisting of 170 multiple choice questions.
• To maintain your PMI-RMP, you must earn 30 professional development units (PDUs) in risk management topics every three years.

Please note: The PMI-RMP is aimed at professional project managers with proven experience. The PMI have outlined the following minimum criteria’s that you need to fulfil before you take the exam.

• 40 hours of project risk management education

OR

• Four-year degree (bachelor’s degree or the global equivalent)
• 3,000 hours of project risk management experience
• 30 hours of project risk management education
