DOCSIS 3.1
This product does not have fixed starting dates and/or places.
Overview
DOCSIS 3.1 is the latest version of the DOCSIS set of specifications, promising speeds of up to 10 Gbps. It defines a totally new physical layer for achieving those speeds. However to fully utilize its features, HFC network upgrades are required.
The goal of this course is to provide insight into how the new physical layer operates, the impact on the network and how the HFC network needs to be modified. The course also provides a good understanding of the speeds that can be offered by 3.1 based on network parameters.
It is recommended that the attendee already has a good knowledge of DOCSIS to fully benefit of attending this course.
