The world of computing needs specialists. In this course, you'll gain a thorough understanding of general computer practices. Then, you'll choose a stream, such as web design, games, networking or security, and develop the appropriate skills that will carry you into a satisfying and rewarding career. To begin with, you'll develop skills to identify problems and formulate solutions in software design, development and engineering, design and development of databases, and other general computing areas. You'll also gain in-depth expertise and skills as you apply your knowledge to your chosen specialisation, and plan, monitor and manage both group and individual projects.
