Description
Learn a broad range of Photoshop techniques in this 5 week course. Stock photographs and our own images are used as the basis for the work.
Through theory and practical demonstrations with studio practice you learn:
• Photoshop fundamentals – file sizes, system requirements, file format differences
• colour theory
• image input – scanners, monitors, desktop printers, film recorders
• application basis – spot colours, additive and subtractive
You gain a basic understanding of Photoshop applications and digital photography.
This is a non accredited course.
Experience using Windows or Macintosh operating systems would be a benefit but is not required; you can progress at your own pace.
