About This Course:The Cisco CCNA Exploration curriculum provides an integrated and comprehensive coverage of networking topics, from fundamentals to advanced applications and services, while providing opportunities for hands-on practical experience and soft-skills development. What You Study:Network Fundamentals (Semester 1)The focus of this semester is on learning the fundamentals of networking. In this Semester you will learn both the practical and conceptual skills that build the foundation for understanding basic networking.
Routing Protocols and Concepts (Semester 2)The goal of this semester is to develop an understanding of how a router learns about remote networks and determines the best path to those networks. This course includes both static routing and dynamic routing protocols.
LAN Switching and Wireless (Semester 3)The primary focus of this semester is on LAN switching and wireless LANs.
Accessing the WAN (Semester 4)
The goal of this semester is to develop an understanding of various
WAN technologies to connect small- to medium-sized business
networks.
You’ll be able to apply for entry-level Network Support roles or progress to Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP).
Location:City Campus North Hanover Street
Dates:12 weeks in duration for each semester on a Tuesday and Thursday from 6pm-9pm.
