You will learn from tutors who have worked in the fashion and textiles industry and they will help you develop a real understanding of professional working practices within the fashion industry. Fashion students get involved in many fashion shows and events both within the college and throughout the city. You will be able to have your garments walked down the catwalk at our sell-out end of year fashion show and take part in our Rags to Riches competition in conjunction with the Birmingham Rag Markets and Harvey Nichols.

What next

This course will allow you to progress on to BTEC Diploma in Fashion and Clothing Level 3, or another level 3 course in a related subject. You could also seek employment in pattern cutting, garment technology, design teams and styling, as a CAD technician, in marketing or buying.
