Summary:
Around 270,000 people suffer a heart attack in the UK each year, about a third of whom die before reaching hospital due to cardiac arrest. CPR can double a person's chances of survival and having a defibrillator close to hand can further increase their chances by more than a third. The course is for people who have a current First Aid at Work Certificate.
