Desktop Publishing – create a variety of publications to
advertise small business or voluntary organisation – flyers,
posters, business cards and brochures.
Presentations – create electronic presentations with slides to
describe the goods or services of your business or outline the role
and functions of the voluntary organisation.
Spreadsheets – learn how to create a spreadsheet for petty cash, budgeting or incomings and outgoings. Edit and format a spreadsheet, apply a range of formulas and functions to calculate answers.

How you will gain the qualification
Progression will be monitored using an Individual Learning Plan. Learners will have regular opportunities to review their progress and plan their next steps. Learners will compile a portfolio of evidence using print outs developed during class time. The tutor will observe some of your computer skills. The course is externally moderated and leads to Agored Cymru units at level one and level two.
What qualifications you need
It is recommended that an introductory or beginners IT course has been completed or experience using a computer, keyboard and mouse.
