This training focuses on development techniques, how-tos and best practices when developing a Hippo CMS based web content management solution and website.
Subjects that will be handled during this training:
- Content creation in the CMS
- Hippo Repository
- Local development and deployment
- Expose content from the CMS using Hippo's delivery tier
- Multi-channel and Template composer
- Faceted Navigation
The training is packed with practical, hands-on exercises and demo's that will help you understand the architecture of Hippo next to the theoretical material.

Who should attend?
Web developers, Java developers and system architects with no prior experience Hippo CMS or developer with no experience in recent versions of Hippo CMS (7.9 or newer).
Prerequisites?
This training requires experience in web development practices (e.g HTML, CSS) and Java web development. Experience with Maven, JSP or Freemarker helps, but is not a prerequisite.
Certification
Trainees are offered a chance to become a Certified Hippo Developer by taking an online exam. The exam can be taken during a period of two weeks after the training.

The Hippo Developer Fundamentals Training costs € 2.400 per attendee.
