Who is this course for? The course is suitable for Electricians, Engineers and Contractors already working and willing to progress on in their professional or improve on their competence in their field. It is also useful for 2330 or 2365 level 2 learners wishing to progress on to level 3. What qualifications or experience do I need ? - Electrical Installation learners who have already completed Level 2 of 2330 or 2365. - Engineers, Designers, Contractors and practising Electricians. What will I study ? The standards for electrical installations in the UK as detailed in the 17th Edition of the BS7671:2008 book and the underlying principles and concepts as well as how to effectively find information from the book. How will I be assessed ? On-line Exam. What qualifications could I achieve ? City and Guilds Level 3 certificate in Requirements for Electrical Installation What can the course lead to ? This qualification will enable you progress on to either: - Level 3 Award in the Initial Verification of Electrical Installations (2394) - Level 3 Award in the Periodic Inspection and Testing and Certification of Electrical Installations (2395) - Level 4 Design and Verification of Electrical Installations (2396) How do I join the course ? You must complete an application form and make an appointment for an interview with a tutor. References may be required from your previous educational establishment/employment Will I need an interview ? You will need a formal interview to assess your needs and professional level. Are there any extra costs for equipment/materials ? You need to purchase the 17th Edition (Green) book before the start of the course. All equipment will be provided.
