What is this Music Technology and Electronics degree about?...

The BSc (Hons) degree in Music Technology is a three-year honours degree. The course is aimed at students who wish to combine a blend of creative practice in music with technical expertise. In particular, the course will suit you if you wish to study musical creativity while developing relevant knowledge in electronic engineering, computing and other technical aspects of ‘digital creativity’.

The course is taught jointly by the Schools of Electronic Engineering and Music. There is also a BA (Hons) Music Technology and Electronics available, which has an increased emphasis on music and audio creativity, whereas this course puts greater emphasis on the engineering and software design aspects. Both courses will combine theory and practice in a holistic way.
