Learn the basics or start to expand your knowledge of digital photography on this introductory course.

You learn about:
- aperture and shutter speed and how to apply that knowledge to your own camera
- composition so you can explore the possibilities for more dynamic, powerful pictures
- picture evaluation – so you can improve them further
- creative imagery
- technical skills related to macro, portrait, low light and flash photography

Learning is through demonstrations and discussions, practical activities in studio and on computers, activities (group/pair/individuals) and self/peer assessment. Your tutor is a professional photographer.
