Ebay and how to deal with making and receiving payments.
The content and outcomes of the course will be discussed with you
and may be adapted to meet your needs and those of the group. As a
guide by the end of the course you should be able to:
Register to use eBay if you wish to do so
Find items that you wish to buy on eBay
Understand the difference between ‘bidding’, ‘buy it now’ and
‘classified adverts’
Understand the process of creating an advert to sell an item,
including adding photographs, and the costs involved

Who is the course for?
This is a level 1 course. Students will be required to have some
prior computer experience and be competent at using the
mouse.
What is your approach?
Demonstrations will be given by the tutor and there will be
plenty of practical hands-on time to enable you to practice the new
techniques, with support from the tutor. Questions are
encouraged!
You will have the opportunity to maintain an Individual Learning
Plan and your tutor will discuss your progress and achievements
with you throughout the course.
You will receive feedback on skills from both peers and
tutor.

All Aspire Sussex dedicated Adult Education centres have Windows 7
and Microsoft Office 2010 installed on all computers.
If it is important for you to be using a particular version of
software on your computer you must check with the centre at the
time of booking your course, that the version you wish to learn is
used on the course you are joining.
What will I need?
You may find a pen and paper useful and a folder for your
printouts and handouts.
Are there any other costs?
There are no other costs. Handouts relating to the topics covered
are included in the course fee.
Please bring packed lunch/refreshments for the day. A drinks
machine is available.
