Level: Level 3

A Level physics will offer you a challenging course that will give you a better understanding of how and why the world behaves in the way it does. You will learn analytical skills and problem solving skills that will benefit you through life.

We have an extensively well-supplied physics department, with equipment for nearly every college-level experiment you can think of. We have had guest speakers in from industry, including a presentation and demonstration about the Bloodhound—Britain’s bid to break the world land-speed record with the fastest car.

Possible trips to Rutherford Appleton Laboratory, or CERN, depending on student interest.
