This 2 day course focuses on these roles and explains how individuals can work effectively within a PRINCE2 managed project and positively affect its outcome.
The course will allow delegates to understand:
- What constitutes a PRINCE2 project
- How the PRINCE2 method could be applied to different project scenarios
- Why the PRINCE2 method must adapted to different circumstances
- What generic project management specific skills delegates need, outside of the PRINCE2 method, in order to successfully operate in a project environment
- How communication and stakeholder engagement is critical to the success of a project
- What negotiation and conflict management approaches are available to aid the project
- How team building and leadership is a vital foundation to the success of any project
Course Format
The learning event (based on a non-complex project) will be
conducted from a practical viewpoint and will involve role play and
homework. The practical work will be backed up by reference to
appropriate theories and research carried out, but executed in a
practical manner.
