Overview

Architecture is no different to other functions within an enterprise - you have to 'do things right' and 'do the right things'. Unfortunately the architecture world has spawned a confusing array of methodologies, frameworks, standards, notations and viewpoints to help you. At the same time organisations (particularly the larger or more complex ones) have to cope with developing multiple solutions, often with dependencies between them, within an enterprise context, sometimes with several teams of architects.

This is a scenario where the capabilities of the function are tested to the limit.

QA's Mission: is to provide training that boosts Architecture capability and guides IS/IT architects into doing things right, and the right things. It addresses the entire spectrum of architect role, ranging from Enterprise through to Technology. It is based on two substantial and well recognised bodies of knowledge - BCS Enterprise and Solution Architecture (doing things right), and The Open Group Architecture Framework (do the right things). Currently QA are the only provider of both these certificated areas.
