SAP BusinessObjects: Web Intelligence XI 3.0/3.1: Advanced Report Design

Overview

• Apply alternative query and reporting techniques when creating complex Web Intelligence documents.
• Create combined queries and use sub-queries.
• Use character and date string functions, create variables using "If" logic, and redefine calculation contexts. The course also provides an optional appendix describing how to link Web Intelligence documents using the OpenDocument URL command

This course is designed to give delegates the comprehensive skills needed to apply alternative query and reporting techniques to complex Web Intelligence documents.
After completing this course, delegates will be able to combine queries and use sub-queries. Additionally delegates will be able to use character and date string functions, create variables using "If" logic, redefine calculation contexts, as well as use advanced reporting techniques such as formatting breaks and using custom sorts.

Prerequisites

This course is for report designers who are experienced Web Intelligence users and who need to create more advanced Web Intelligence documents. Delegates must have attended one of the following courses:
