Prerequisites
Delegates must have attended the Scrum Practitioner or Agile Project Management Course

This two-day course provides participants with a thorough grounding in Scrum and is comprised of three main elements.
The first element provides:
- Coverage of Scrum principles and values
- Scrum roles, Artefacts and meetings
- Why disciplined and intelligent use of Scrum is so important
second element considers the method and its values in more detail:
- The need for and the power of feedback loops
- The healing nature of continuous improvement
- The power of self-organising teams
- The importance of Quality and the economic and personal impact of technical debt
- How Scrum can be employed to achieve business objectives and maximises ROI
third element deals with:
- Pitfalls of Scrum
- Scrum - with traditional methods and governance
- How to deal with distributed teams
- How to start
- How to scale
- Practical experience with Agile practices

Certification
Scrum.org provides an online assessment where you can achieve the
recognised Professional Scrum Master I Certification upon achieving
85% or more of the available points. The assessment may be taken
independently following the course; the fee for the assessment is
currently £100 and entitles you to one attempt.
