De DAMA DMBoK2 beschrijft 11 disciplines van Data Management, waarbij Data Governance centraal staat. Nu het cruciale belang van Data Management steeds meer wordt ingezien, willen organisaties en informatieprofessionals hun medewerkers ook een internationaal erkende professionele kwalificatie kunnen meegeven. De Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP)-kwalificatie biedt een traject voor het inleidende niveau (Associate) tot en met hogere kwalificatieniveaus. Centraal hierbij staat het Data Management Fundamentals (DMF) examen, waar deze cursus de deelnemers op voorbereidt.

De Cursus

Deze cursus behandelt álle Information Management disciplines zoals gedefinieerd in de internationale industriestandaard, DAMA body of knowledge (DMBoK) v2. De cursus wordt gegeven door een vooraanstaand DAMA DMBoK(2.0) auteur en CDMP(Fellow) en biedt een solide basis van de verschillende disciplines binnen het volledige Information Management spectrum. Door deel te nemen aan de cursus, krijgen deelnemers een stevige ondergrond van de fundamentele Information Management concepten. Aan de hand van voorbeelden uit de praktijk wordt geïllustreerd hoe Informatie Architectuur wordt toegepast. Daarnaast biedt deze cursus een solide basis voor deelnemers die de professionele certificering van de DAMA Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) willen behalen. De cursus wordt afgesloten met het afleggen van het Data Management Fundamentals examen, zodat deelnemers deze cursus kunnen afronden met het behalen van hun CDMP (Associate) certificering.

De cursus is ontworpen en wordt gegeven door de VP van Professional Development voor DAMA International, auteur van “Data Modelling for the Business” een binnen het vakgebied erkende DAMA DMBoK(2.0) auteur, DAMA CDMP(Fellow) Past President van DAMA UK, auteur en examinator van de professionele CDMP certificering en ontvanger van de DAMA Lifetime Achievement Award for Data Management Excellence.

Deze 3-daagse cursus behandelt alle Information Management disciplines zoals gedefinieerd in de DAMA body of knowledge (DMBoK v2.0), inclusief de ‘nieuwe’ discipline van “Data Integratie” geïntroduceerd in DMBoK 2.

Deelnemers die het 90 minuten durende (+20 minuten wanneer Engels de tweede taal is) CDMP Data Management Fundamentals examen willen afleggen, krijgen tegen betaling van de € 311 examenkosten toegang tot een proefexamen om te oefenen, voordat ze het live examen afleggen. TRAINER

Winfried Etzel is een ervaren professional met bijna 15 jaar ervaring in Data- en Informatiemanagement. In zijn loopbaan richt hij zich op verschillende kritieke gebieden, zoals Document en Content Management, Metadata Management, Data Governance, organisatieontwerp voor datateams en data- en AI-strategie. Hij heeft met succes Data Management-modellen ontworpen en geïmplementeerd en tegelijkertijd actief bijgedragen aan het formuleren van strategieën, het beoordelen van de volwassenheid, ontwerpvoorstellen en opbouw van capaciteiten. Met invullen van verschillende rollen, waaronder consultant, manager, strategisch en operationeel adviseur en projectmanager, beschikt Winfried over een veelomvattend perspectief op Data Management.
