Course Description

Our eLearning training is very practical. The training includes case studies, interactive exercises and an exam simulator to test your knowledge before taking the real exam. 

The training is divided into a number of lessons, which combine leading multimedia and interactive exercises with theory. Learning with this elearning is fun, practical and gives you all the knowledge you need to pass the exam, as well as to apply immediately in your work. When you finish your training, you can test your knowledge with the MoP exam simulator. When you have answered more than 60% correctly, you can apply for the real M_o_R exam. The two official online exams are part of this eLearning training.

What is MoR® ?

Risk Management (M_o_R®) is designed to help organizations put in place an effective risk management framework that enables them to make informed decisions about the risks that affect their strategic, portfolio, programme, project, product or operational objectives. It provides practical guidance for effective risk management and shows how to link risks to opportunities and benefits. M_o_R® is universally applicable and aligned with ISO standards.
M_o_R® provides a modern value- and benefit-focused approach to risk management, which can be applied across all industries, sectors and regions and to different delivery methods, including Agile.

During this Risk Management (M_o_R) course, you will improve your skills and knowledge in Risk Management - M_o_R framework. You will be able to assess and make decisions about risks that affect your organization's performance. You will also be able to protect your organization by applying the activities required to identify and control your exposure to risks. This is possible by embedding and reviewing risk management in your organization's culture and by being able to implement and update risk management in any scenario.

The Risk Management course is aimed at any organization or individual who sees the need for guidance on a controlled approach to identifying, analyzing and managing risks at strategic, program, project and operational levels. This course is suitable for anyone interest in or responsible for corporate governance and the organization's overall exposure to risk.

Pre-requisites

No prerequisites are necessary to apply the course, although delegates will be expected to have some theoretical knowledge gained during the Foundation training. However, in order to pass the Practitioner exam you need to be an MoR® Foundation holder.

  • This session looks at changing organizational culture, measuring value and overcoming common barriers to implementing Risk Management, along with identifying opportunities for change.

Exam Information

Exams are taken online via remote proctor. You will be sent an email invitation approximately two weeks before course commencement to register on the Peoplecert portal. Once registered, you can book your online exam at a date and time. You are responsible for booking your exam.

Foundation exam

  • Duration 1 hour
  • 75 questions (including five test questions)
  • 50% success rate (35/70)
  • Closed book

Practitioner exam

  • Objective examination
  • 3 hours duration
  • Four questions per exam, 20 points per question available
  • 50% passed grade (40/80)

  • Candidates can use the book: Management of Risk, Guidance for Practitioners (the Management of Risk 'guide'), along with: ABC Guide Part A Example Techniques guidance document. No materials may be used other than the question booklet, scenario booklet, answer booklet and the two manuals.
