Reason 3 has a whole array of interesting features, all of which you‘ll learn to take advantage of, including: one-step loading of complex, customisable instruments, instant integration with MIDI keyboards and controllers, a range of synthesizers, samplers, a drum machine, the REX file loop player plus a suite of mastering tools and world class audio effects. Meet the Instructor:

Jeff Dykhouse has been actively involved in audio engineering for more than 20 years. He has been a user of computer-based recording systems from their inception. Jeff’s diverse career has earned him gold and platinum awards (RIAA). Many of Jeffs endeavours have been within the Praise & Worship genre, where he has worked with top artists such as Paul Baloche, Crystal Lewis, Kevin Prosch and The Violet Burning. Additional clients include corporations such as RCA, Apple Computer, NBC and Charles Schwab. Jeff owns and operates a recording facility and systems design company in Temecula, CA.

What are the requirements?

• You must be 16 or over
• You should have a basic understanding of English, Maths and ICT
• You will need a computer or tablet with internet connection (or access to one)

How will I be assessed?

• You will have one assignment. Pass mark is 65%.
• You will only need to pay £19 for assessment.
• You will receive the results within 72 hours of submittal, and will be sent a certificate in 7-14 days.

What Certification am I going to receive?

Those who successfully pass this course will be awarded a Reason 3: Essential Training certificate. Anyone eligible for certification will receive a free e-certificate, and printed certificate.

What careers can I get with this qualification?

This excellent Reason 3: Essential Training course will qualify you to be a Recording Engineer. As a Recording Engineer you could work for an existing organisation, or could work on a freelance basis. The average salary of a Recording Engineer in the UK is £23,769, and this will go up with experience (payscale.com). With this course you could fulfil any of the following roles:
