Assessment is by ongoing practical evaluation together with the production of a portfolio of evidence throughout the year which may include written, photographic and observational information.What does the course lead to?
Completion of the course can lead to employment in the horse industry or the Level 3 Diploma in Work-based Horsecare.Entry requirements
This course is aimed at general assistants in the horse industry who are under supervision at all times.You should have completed your secondary education and have an aptitude in English and Maths, and previously gained either the NVQ Level 1 or the Level 1 Diploma in Work-based Horsecare.
You must have a minimum of 10 hours work experience with a reference.
You must provide your own riding equipment and inform us of any past health issues.
