The course will cover the following:
- Theory of anatomy and physiology of the whole body
- Theory and practical of: Body massage, aromatherapy, reflexology, counselling as a therapist, health, safety and hygiene and salon management.
What does the course lead to?
Upon completion of the course you can gain employment in leisure centres, health centres and hospitals, set up your own practice or work in sports clubs. The qualification gained at the end of this course is accepted at certain universities for progression to higher level qualifications.Entry requirements
You must be aged 19 or over and have a good general education, preferably with GCSE grade Cs or above in English and Science. You must also show a genuine interest in working with people, demonstrate a mature and sensible approach and be very dedicated. You will be considered on your own merit and will be interviewed by a member of staff prior to acceptance.What can I do next?
