This home study counselling course starts with the basic principles of Counselling and Psychotherapy and progresses through to counselling tools and techniques, which can be used to work with clients’ symptoms. It also gives you a good insight into a number of therapies currently in use, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Person-Centred Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Gestalt Therapy, plus many others.
