If you are aged between 19 and 23 and don't already hold a qualification equivalent to 5 GCSEs at grade C or above, and you need to study at Entry or Level 1 to progress to Level 2, tuition fees will be waived. If you meet the Eligible Benefit criteria, tuition fees will be waived. (Registration Fees will still apply).

The aim of the qualification is to give learners the opportunity to
gain knowledge and develop a range of practical skills relevant to
the Motor Vehicle Industry.
To achieve the qualification learners must complete several units
at entry 3 level, students will cover the following units:
• Engines
• Steering
• Suspension
• Braking systems
• Routine vehicle checks
• Vehicle valeting Entry Qualification: Interview and Assessment
Special Features: You will be working in an environment which
mirrors the industry with regards to the tools, machinery and work
involved, preparing you for employment within the industry. Course
Format: Learners are assessed through a portfolio of evidence when
the learner is ready. Units are assessed by a formal written
assignment for each unit which will be both internally and
externally verified. Progression: Learners who successfully
complete the course can progress onto an IMI Level 1 course.
