OVERVIEW
This one-day workshop is a mixture of NEC theory and practical exercises on a sample project/actual project that the parties are working under. Its intent is that both parties jointly review the contract and carry out practical exercises revolved around Contract Data, Early Warnings, Programme, Compensation Events and Payment.

It is considered that it will be most effective when all parties from a particular project are represented with all their key staff in attendance.
OBJECTIVES
At the end of the course participants should be able to:
-Understand the roles and responsibilities of the key
parties
-Understand the more important ECC clauses
-Appreciate how the ECC contributes to the effective management of
a project
-Consider procedures to be put in place for project to best
administer the contract for all parties
TIMINGS
This course starts at 09:00 and finishes at 17:00 with refreshment breaks mid-morning and afternoon, plus lunch.
All timings, except the start time, are approximate and may be adjusted to suit natural breaks in the lesson.
ADDITIONAL
All delegates are required to bring a copy of the Engineering & Construction Contract with them on this course. At least one copy of the actual contract that the parties are working under should also be made available.
