Our students have been winners or finalists of The Young Guns Competition, an industry award that recognises students who have excelled during their placement, for the last ten years.
You study business and management, food and drink management and facilities management, with options to study conference and events management or culinary arts. This allows you to focus on specialist areas of the industry as well as having a broad understanding of the industry as a whole.
Throughout the course you develop your practical expertise using dedicated facilities in our professional kitchens. We are constantly developing these to ensure you develop the skills you need to work in the industry.
You are taught by lecturers with considerable industry experience internationally in a wide range of roles, including research and consultancy, training and development, food and beverage operations, hotel management, banqueting and conferencing.
In your first year, you develop your understanding of key principles in hospitality. You then choose whether to specialise in either food and beverage business or hospitality events business, in your second year.
