This course is for anyone who is interested in learning the basics of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. The software used at the Community Hub is Windows 7 and Microsoft Office 2010. The course will allow learners to explore and gain confidence in using the software and the sessions are delivered by an experienced and friendly tutor.
Word 2010 has many features that will help to simplify the production of documents and make documents look visually appealing.
Excel 2010 is a spreadsheet application that allows you to store, manipulate, and analyse data. PowerPoint 2010 allows you to create amazing slide presentations that can include images, video, charts and more.

This course is for anyone who is interested in learning the
basics of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. The software used
at the Community Hub is Windows 7 and Microsoft Office 2010. The
course will allow learners to explore and gain confidence in using
the software and the sessions are delivered by an experienced and
friendly tutor.

We will make every effort to start, and complete, your
course. However, there are a range of circumstances which may
prevent us from being able to deliver the advertised courses.
In the case of low class numbers, staff sickness, industrial
action, severe weather conditions, or any circumstance which may
affect the Health & Safety of staff or learners, we may decide
to cancel a session or a whole course.
In these cases, we will refund learners for any complete missed
sessions, or offer an extra session to complete a course.
Concessions may be available but evidence of
entitlement to the benefits listed will be needed before
concessions are applied.
