Food Safety in Catering Certificate Level 2 RSPH Awarding Body Royal Society for Public Health Course Details You will study the following: Discovering the causes of food poisoning and bacterial involvement. Learning about hygiene control, food storage and temperature control. Understanding the importance of pest control and personal hygiene. Learning about the importance of food safety management systems. Entry Requirements No entry requirements are necessary. Assessment The End Test involves answering multiple choice questions with a pass mark of 20 out of 30. Each module within the course has an informal test for you to confirm your progress. Learning Outcome You will take away with you a nationally recognised Certificate in Food Safety. Progression after Programme Successful completion would allow progression to the level 3 Award in Supervising Food Safety in Catering. ENROLMENT TAKES PLACE DURING THE FIRST SESSION
