VRQ Level 6 Certificate in Management and Leadership

Developed for middle managers aspiring to senior management, the level 6 qualifications in Management and Leadership are designed to improve personal management capabilities through effective decision-making and strategic leadership.

VRQs are work-based but assessed by written assignment.  They are made up of units covering a wide range of management topics, allowing you to tailor the size and elements of the qualification to suit you and your organisation’s specific needs.

A more extensive qualification, the CMI Level 6 Certificate in Management and Leadership gives you a broader knowledge of management skills while focusing on the specific areas appropriate to you and your workplace.

To achieve a Chartered Management Institute Certificate in Management and Leadership, you need to successfully complete any combination of units to a minimum of 14 credits. (Units 6001 – 6008 only) The Certificate can take between 1 to 3 months.

There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification.  Assessment is normally through practical work based assignments.  This ensures you minimise time away from work and that you undertake work study which is relevant to your own organisation’s context.  Learners should have sufficient capability at the right level to undertake the learning and assessment.
