Plumbing: Level 3 City&Guilds 6129 Technical Cert - Part Time Eve

Course Summary:

The part-time Level 3 Plumbing Technical Certificate at Nescot is available in a variety of ways to accomodate your existing commitments. The course is a combination of practical and theory sessions enabling you to gain good practical skills with underpinning job knowledge of Plumbing. You will work towards achieving 9 units of competence throughout the year which will culminate in an end of Year City & Guilds examination.

Course Details:

Our courses can be completed in a variety of ways to fit in with your personal and work needs. Courses are available on a part-time day, or evening-only basis. You will be given details of course materials, stationery and the health and safety equipment you will require when you enrol on the programme. Completion of the Level 3 award will allow progression to a level 4 programme – e.g. HNC / Degree.

Part-time day course - One Year: One day per week for 36 weeks.

Part-time evening course – One Year: Two evenings per week for 36 weeks.

- Systems planning

- Complex cold water systems

- Complex domestic hot water systems (part 1)

- Complex domestic hot water systems (part 2)

- Complex sanitation systems

- Central heating systems (boilers and controls)

- Domestic gas supply systems (part 1)

Career Progression:

Completion of the Level 3 award will allow progression to a level 4 programme eg HNC/Degree.
