The strength of this training

During the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt training, special emphasis is placed on the practical application of Lean Six Sigma. In addition to focusing on Lean and Six Sigma techniques, the training will also make multiple references to change management. It is, after all, essential that attention is paid to the human aspect. This is what ensures the lasting success of improvements.

In order to achieve this success, the Green Belt training handles themes such as teamwork, creating support, overcoming resistance, safeguarding quality and techniques used for the setup of management systems.

Coaching at the workplace

For the best possible results from this training, we highly recommend that you take advantage of coaching by one of our (Master) Black Belts. This will encourage even better application of the training and you will learn more from it. We are convinced that the Lean Six Sigma theory only properly sinks in once it is actually applied. This is why we offer the coaching (learning-by-doing) option. Based on our own experience, we recommend at least 1.5 days of coaching per project. The costs for this amount to € 1,200 (exc. VAT) per day.

Certification

Green Belt training allows you to become a certified IASSC Lean Six Sigma Green Belt. The certification consists of two parts:

Theory certificate

The theory certificate demonstrates that you have command of the Lean and Six Sigma methods and techniques at 6-day World Class Green Belt training level. Our training takes place according to a curriculum in line with the globally-recognised ASQ and IASSC ‘Body of Knowledge’.

The relevant requirements are:

  • Participation in the training;
  • Completion of an examination to test knowledge of theory.

Certificate costs are included in the training price.

Practical certificate

The practical certificate is the true cherry on top of your Green Belt training. It is proof of your skill and indicates that you have not only mastered the theory, but that you also know how to put it into practice. You can earn this certificate by successfully completing a single Lean Six Sigma project with the help of the right tools and change skills.

The relevant requirements are:

  • Successful completion of theory examination;
  • Performance of a single project to which this theory is applied;
  • Practical certificate costs are not included in the training price and amount to € 350 (exc. VAT).

Required investment

The cost of this training amounts to € 1,795 (exc. VAT) per participant and includes:

  • All study materials;
  • An actual operational simulation;
  • Official IASSC Lean Six Sigma Green Belt theory certificate.

If this training is required on an in-company basis, we only present it to groups of 5 or more participants!

What is Lean Six Sigma?

Lean and Six Sigma is the combination of Lean Management and Six Sigma. Lean Management – or Lean in short – originated in the 1950’s at Japanese car manufacturer Toyota. It was originally known as the Toyota Production System (TPS), but was redubbed Lean Manufacturing or Lean Management in the 1980’s by Messrs Womack and Jones. The principle behind Lean is as follows. From his own point-of-view, the customer examines the process and determines whether or not he wants to pay for an activity. Does the activity in question add value or not?
