Try your hand at loose cover making, whether cushions, armcaps, or for a full chair. Everything to your own design. Use this opportunity to learn to cane.
Open to all abilities, no experience necessary.
Additional costs will be incurred for any materials used during the course.

Course Aim & Objective:
To create, from design inception to completion, any item of upholstered furniture of your choice.
In doing so, you will found and continue to develop a bank of knowledge, an understanding of that knowledge and the appropriate skills of the craft.
Assessment:
Further work ouside any session is of your choice. Assessment is continuous throughout the course. An individual project sheet is developed alongside any project undertaken.
Progression:
To be discussed during the course.
Course Syllabus:
Appraise and assess accurately and promptly, the work any individual piece requires; repair, recover, partial strip, full strip, any combination.
Either traditional or modern methods, or a combination, may be employed, dependant upon best practice.
