Description

The English Language AS Level home study course examines the English language of advertising in advanced detail and provides the perfect opportunity for students to improve their language skills and gain an understanding of the underlying structures of English, both spoken and written.

Each lesson begins with a set of clearly stated objectives and an explanation of its place in the overall programme of study. Effective learning is encouraged through frequent activities and self- assessment questions. There are eight Tutor-Marked Assignments (known as TMAs).

The course is divided into the following lesson:

  1. Introduction to Language Analysis: Language Frameworks
  2. Textual Variations and Representations
  3. Language Diversity
  4. Language Discourses
