Entry and admission criteria
- Typical offers at 280 UCAS Points. You need to study at least two subjects at A Level and achieve one grade B or above in one subject. Students also need to have a good knowledge of Mathematics. This can be demonstrated by A or AS level Maths; other subjects with a strong mathematical component such as natural sciences, statistics or economics at A or AS level are also accepted.
- Five GCSEs at grades A–C including English Language plus Maths at grade B.
- International Baccalaureate: 28+ Points.
We welcome applications from mature students with non-standard qualifications and recognise all other equivalent and international qualifications.
International students:
If English is not your first language, we require an English language level of IELTS 6.5 or equivalent.
Teaching and assessment
Lectures, tutorials and seminars, group work and self-directed study. Assessment includes coursework (eg, presentations, essays and reports) and normally an exam or test.
You will normally attend around 15 hours of timetabled taught sessions (lectures, tutorials etc) each week, and are expected to undertake at least 15 further hours of independent study to complete project work, research etc as required.
