About This Course:

This course is ideal for people working in the supply chain in the public or private sector. Typical job roles can range from global supply chain director to supplies/procurement assistant. The course is overseen by the Sector Skills Council and Skills for Logistics.

What You Need:

Ideally you’ll have some supervisory experience within the supply chain and have adequate writing and numeracy skills. You should have some exposure to tasks and activities within an organisation’s supply chain function and be able to gather appropriate evidence in that area.

What You Study:

You need to complete 9 of the available 20 units including the 3 mandatory units and 6 from the remaining 17 units.

The mandatory units are:

  • Maintain Operational Relationships within the Supply Chain
  • Analyse Information on the Supply Chain
  • Apply Improvements to the Supply Chain
After The Course:

Continue to the SVQ Level 4 in Supply Chain Management or to gain entry to our CIPS portfolio of qualifications.

Dates:

This distance learning course normally lasts 1 year, but it is flexible.
