Full Description:

Course Description:

In the Advanced Diploma, you will learn management leadership skills and take a more in-depth look at the core subjects relating to public services. You will cover more areas including promoting and influencing public services, legislation, people management, collaborative working, funding and more. You will learn why people and communities need safety and protection and how it is provided, exploring the role of areas such as the justice system, emergency services and trading standards, and how they work together. The Diploma will equip you with the skills and knowledge you need in Public Services. It combines academic study with real-life learning so that you get a high quality qualification that will be valued by employers and universities. During the course, you will do at least ten days work experience, which will help you apply what you have learnt and develop communication and problem solving skills that you will find useful in your future career.
