Energy Efficiency (Training & Assessment Energy Efficiency)
This product does not have fixed starting dates and/or places.
The duration for training is dependent on each individual engineer’s expertise, competence, knowledge and understanding of energy conservation and the building regulations. However the average amount of training for energy efficiency is one day and two hours assessment. This is based on the assumption that the training pack has been purchased and studied by the candidate before attending the course. If extra training is required then arrangements can be made to suit the individual engineer. Training is not a mandatory requirement for assessment.

Course content
Qualification: City & Guilds 6084 Level 3 The regulations and working practices that have been introduced since the introduction of document (L), a working knowledge of the building regulations and the methods of energy conservation.
- One-day theory. (Might differ to suit class or individuals needs)
- Two hours online assessment
Allows permission to apply to Gas Safe Register to be included on their Register to download work in the gas industry on installation of boilers and heating systems.
Entry Requirements
Formal qualification required. A recognised award in plumbing, heating and ventilation or gas. I.e. 6066, 6013, 6012, 6034, A.C.S, 6019 or 6129 this is not an exhaustive list.
Delivery & Assessment methods
These are undertaken separately and consist of theory-based assessment, the theory being a multi choice paper based test and the time allowed is two hours. Course Length: Minimum of two hours for assessment plus training days as required.
