This Level 3 course is designed to further develop students incorporating more theoretical aspects of the uniformed public services; including policy development, law, citizenship and diversity while continuing to develop teamwork, problem solving and personal fitness.

Entry RequirementsIt is essential that your Initial Assessment results show that you are working at Level 2. Prior experience of taking part in outdoor adventure activities is desired and a commitment to the participation in outdoor adventure activities is essential. Learners will be expected to have a basic level of fitness and work towards public service fitness requirements.

Functional Skills
You will also work towards nationally recognised functional
qualifications in English, Maths and ICT.
This Level 3 qualification gives you the opportunity to enter employment in the uniformed public services sector or to progress to Higher Education in Public Services or onto university specific courses. Also on offer is the Level 3 Diploma in Public Services a 1 year programme (1.5 A-levels) following the same academic and practical pathway as the 2 year Level 3 programme.
