Course Description
This course provides a range of opportunities for Assistant Level employment within childcare settings.
Students will study a number of core units as well as topics including:
- Providing support for children with additional learning requirements
- Supporting children’s play and learning
- Children’s development

In addition, students will gain a qualification in Functional Skills English and Maths.
Entry Requirements
- 4 GCSEs Grade D or above
- Level 1 English and/or Maths
- Successful interview with College staff
