Course Overview
The travel and tourism industry is widely recognised as an important sector that makes a significant contribution to job creation and to our economy. This two year full-time programme is suitable for people who are interested in working in organisations such as tourist information centres, tourist attractions and amenities, transport operations, retail travel, hospitality or events.

This programme involves a compulsory six month period of work based learning. Assessment is carried out using a range of methods including assignments, seminars and examinations.

This programme is validated by the University of Ulster.

Please refer to the College’s admissions criteria. Please note the minimum tariff accepted for this course in the previous academic year was 120 points.

Where will this course take you
Successful graduates may progress to university to top-up their qualification to a full honours degree. Employment opportunities arise within the hospitality and travel and tourism sectors in public, private and voluntary organisations.
