Assessment is by combination of assignments, examinations and organisation of events as well as a project undertaken during work based learning. The work placement is undertaken in the final semester of the course which enables students to stay on within industry, with the possibility of gaining full-time employment.

The course is run on both a full and part-time basis.


Entry Requirements
Please refer to the College’s admissions criteria. Please note, the minimum tariff accepted for this course in the previous academic year was 120 points.

Where will this course take you
Students who complete the course may proceed to the final year of the honours degree in many universities. The University of Ulster will accept students onto the final year of the Leisure and Events Management degree after undertaking additional bridging modules. Alternatively, since this programme has been designed to meet the demands of a major employment growth area, you will be able to pursue a career in the events industry
