What is this Bachelor of Midwifery degree about?...
The School of Health Care Sciences currently offers a full time three year course of study leading to a Bachelor of Midwifery degree and registration as a midwife with the UK Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
You will have the opportunity to gain clinical experience in maternity units offering care to pregnant women and their families. This includes working with midwifery teams in the community to provide continuity of care.
The course commences in September each year with practice placements offered in a variety of areas across north Wales with opportunity for some short placements outside the area.
