- The qualification that you will gain will be unit accreditation (six credits) towards the main full level 2 qualification. A VTCT Certificate of unit credits will be available upon successful completion. You will also develop wider skills vital for success in further study or employment, including self-confidence, working with others, taking responsibility and time management. By the end of the course you will have benefited from a valuable insight into future study or careers open to you.
- The course is open to motivated individuals who plan to pursue a career within the hairdressing industry. Your offer will be subject to a short interview, full commitment to 100% attendance and a minimum of three hours home study a week - both of which are required to assure successful completion.
- Upon successful completion of this course you can progress to the next QCF unit of the full level 2 qualification.
- You will attend college one evening a week participating in
classroom practical and salon sessions to gain hands-on experience.
You will be required to provide clients for assessment
purposes.
You will learn by a variety of methods including discussion, activities, lectures and workshops. Assignments and homework will also be set to gain this qualification. The remaining time will be spent within the practical working salon to practice and perform the practical application of this type of styling.
