This qualification is accredited by the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) which is the recognised professional body for staff employed in a range of roles in finance and accounting. Members of the AAT are fully qualified accounting technicians.What Will I Learn
This course covers financial team leader skills, including drafting financial statements for limited companies, managing budgets and evaluating financial performance. How Will I Be Assessed?
Many of the units are assessed by computer-based exams and the provisional results are available immediately or are marked by an assessor at the college.Entry Requirements
You will require a Level 3 Accounting qualification and a good standard of both English and Maths.Additional Information
Students are required to become members of AAT. The AAT registration and subscription fee will be approximately £120. Purchase of books are optional.Progression
You will be able progress directly into employment and self-employment. You can also progress on to Chartered Accountancy awards - this Level provides exemptions on these awardsCareer Opportunities
