This course provides participants with a clear understanding of the guidance designed to help maximise value within the achievement of programme and project objectives and the delivery of key stakeholder requirements. The course will equip participants to take the examination for the Management of Value (MoV®) Foundation level qualification and it will also include practical exercises which will aid preparation for the Practitioner level qualification.

- achieve transformational change more quickly
- contribute to an improvement in decision-making and policy-making
- meet the need to do more with less and to balance the increasing demands with available resources without compromising on quality
- maximise returns on investments.
The course includes the Foundation level examination.
Prerequisites

The course is aimed at individuals who have no prior knowledge or experience and who wish to acquire sufficient knowledge to enable them to make a positive contribution to any project, as well as contributing to improvements in the operational environment.

It will particularly benefit individuals who intend to progress to the Practitioner level and take the Practitioner examination.

The course will be equally beneficial to anyone responsible for, or supporting portfolio, programme, or project management in the public or private sectors operational efficiency improvement initiatives.
Delegates must bring photographic identification with them on exam days (passport, driving license or student card) as it is an examination requirement to produce it for the invigilator prior to the exam. Failure to produce a valid form of photographic identification may result in a candidate not being able to sit the exams. Additional work will be required during evenings consisting of consolidation reading, mock examination questions and exercises. This evening work is an integral part of the course and delegates should expect to spend up to 2 hours each evening on these activities.

Examination
All delegates will sit the MoV Foundation examination in the late afternoon of the third day of the course. The exam consists of:
- 50 multiple choice questions
- 40 minutes
- Closed-book
- Candidates require a minimum of 25 correct answers (50%) to pass
