Management of Value® offers a systematic method for defining what value means to organizations, and communicating it clearly to maximize value across portfolios, programs, projects and businesses. It reflects the organization's strategic goals at the portfolio level and sets the agenda for the program that delivers these goals which in turn defines the projects that are implemented to achieve the required results.

COURSE OVERVIEW

Management of Value (MoV®) has developed from a proven and successful practice for value management in many sectors and for many years. The MoV guidance adapts the established methods to AXELOS 'owned program and project management. The guide describes methods that are not new, but their use is often overlooked or abused.

About the course

The main part of the course consists of 11 sessions that include MoV principles, processes and techniques.

It also includes MoV approach and implementation,

MoV environment, embedding of MoV and appendix to MoV guidance.

GOALS WITH THE COURSE

The purpose of the Foundation certification is to confirm that a candidate has sufficient knowledge and understanding of the MoV guidelines to:

• enable participants to contribute effectively to MoV activities led by others;

• enable participants to understand and explain MoV to others.
