What will I do on the course?
The Level 2 award in Plumbing is a work-related course. You will learn by completing projects and assignments that are based on realistic workplace situations, activities and demands. As well as learning about the employment area you have chosen, you will develop the skills you need to start or progress into a career within the plumbing industry. In addition, you will learn skills that are required in any career choice, including health & safety, confidence building, social and practical skills, and English and Maths. We also offer English and Maths GCSE resits. Modules studied on this programme:- Health and safety at work
- Working safely in a team doing plumbing installation activities
- Pricing jobs
- Materials, storage and handling
- Maintaining pipe systems and components
- Hot and cold water, central heating, sanitation and roof weathering systems
- Pipe systems and components installation and testing
What qualifications do I need?
- 4 GCSEs Grade D or above, OR
- Level 1 qualification in a related subject
- Adequate standard of English and Maths
- Mature learners with other qualifications and/or experience are also welcomed
- You should have a strong interest in working in plumbing and demonstrate a commitment to succeed

Are there any additional costs?
Learners may be required to purchase minor items of personal equipment during the course. In addition there may be extra curricular trips which have an additional cost, but these are not compulsory for completion of the course. Prices and details will be discussed at interview.
